Another One Gone

Just been told of the death of 'Taps' Tappin formerly 3 Sqn and 157 Sqn. He was a really nice and helpful chap, full of information. He was unusual in that he shot down a FW 190 from SKG 10 at night, a He 177 of II/KG 40 by day and a BV 222 of SAGr 129 by night whilst with 157 Sqn
