08/23/42 ...Feluy / Belgium .

Hello , I do some research about a plane .
The only informations that I have is localisation and date..
FELUY 08/23/1942...And two pictures :debris of the plane ..probably a bomber ( but I don't know what kind of ) and an other with a text .
This is :

Traveller, 23 August 1942

Here were killed in action, 5 members of the crew of an RAF aircraft returning from Germany. We regret painfully the loss of this 5 Canadians Tommies who die in accomplishing their duty : the battle against our cruel common enemy for the liberty of all the free nations.
Rest in peace, great heroes! Did God bless you!

A friend of yours.

I'm also doing a historical research on one of these soldiers, namely Denis Nicholson... Can you put the photos you have on this forum or one some flickr page?

thanks!

Hello,

The memorial plate was set in the rue Crombize at the initiative of the local stone cutter, the late Mr Estrebel.

Best regards
