Taxiing incident between a Bf 109E-4 and a Hs 126, 7 March 1941
I have a couple of photos depicting a taxiing incident between a Bf 109E-4, W. Nr. 6282, and a Hs 126, on Pipera airfield, Rumania, on 7 March 1941. The fighter's unit is given in the Lw loss record as III./JG 27, which I personally doubt. Could it be, perhaps, I./JG 28?
Can anyone confirm, or infirm, the information on the Bf 109's unit?

Denes,
why would you doubt III./JG 27? The unit was in Rumania around that time. John. |
