Re: Photo LFG Roland D.II
Hello,
Currently on ebay is a nice flight line of LFG Roland D.II machines at: https://www.ebay.de/itm/Foto-Jasta-F...UAAOSwK8Nf2lNl I would be very grateful if a reader with better eyes than mine can decipher any of the serial numbers. The seller also has a photo of a Rumpler C.I of FF A 220, so possibly the Roland's belong to this unit as they are known to have operated at least one D.II, although the number shown seems surprisingly high if that is the case. Re: Photo LFG Roland D.II
Hello,
Currently on ebay is a interesting photo of a LFG Roland D.II with a shooting star marking at: https://www.ebay.de/itm/Foto-Flieger...oAAOSwxeNgKBGB Currently on ebay is a interesting photo of a LFG Roland D.II with checked fuselage band at: https://www.ebay.de/itm/Foto-Flieger...MAAOSw~1pgKA-W and this machine: https://www.ebay.de/itm/Foto-Flieger...sAAOSwg0FgKA6M Can anyone read the Albatros serial in the background? as it may help with identification. Its markings are not unlike a machine flown by Leutnant Krämer of Jasta 37.
