Information Concerning the Loss of Uffz. Karl Pilshofer
Hi,
Have acquired a sterbebild for a Uffz. Karl Pilshofer. Who was lost in Decemeber 1943 on a bombing mission in the West. Was he involved in any activity over England? Please see the attched image of the sterbebild. Thanks Rick |

21-12-1943 IV/KG6 Heimat flight - crash by Poitiers Ju88A-14 4147 100% - FF Uffz Friedrich Seemuller, B Uffz. Karl Pilshofer, Bf Gef Helmut Fay, Bs Ogef Walter Freundorfer all killed - source Luft QMs returns.
The KG6 book gives on a Night Tatikflug 3km south of Poitiers, wn as 144177 and crew of 11th Staffel. The book says the cause of the crash of this training flight was unknown, Regards Brian Bines |
