is it known if Danish top ace Peter Horn scored his kills in a Bf109 or a Fw190 ? Michael |

Re: Peter Horn
Meanwhile, a very tiny wikipedia entry has been created which refers to this website:

Re: Peter Horn
You still keep posting the fake information on Horn. He never joined the Luftwaffe, wich I have proven beyond any doubt in postings in this forum. Based on original German and Danish archive material. A website like this has no original sources other than books. The only dane with any victories is Sommer with 3 confirmed.

Re: Peter Horn
Jörn,
With respect, you are attempting to reason with an individual who is mentally incaple of judging the relative merits of differing sources of information. This is not the only case of an individual such as yourself self trying to be helpful, but anyone replying to Knusel simply wastes their time.An inability to judge evidence on its merits on his part renders any post from him or reply to it futile. Regards, Clint |

Re: Peter Horn
I was talking about the danes in Luftwaffe. The myth was started by the late Hans Ring as stated before.

Re: Peter Horn
Peter is the most numerous given name among Germans and Horn is a typical German family name. May it be that there has been a non-Danish individual in JG51 who is not the same as the Danish guy ?
Keep in mind some people even confuse the night fighter Günther Bertram with the day fighter Günther Bertram. |

Re: Peter Horn
There is another Horn in JG 51 according to Hans Ring.

Re: Peter Horn
This book:
https://www.amazon.de/Jagdgeschwader.../dp/3613010453 contains a very large JG51 scorer list and if memory serves me well a Mr Horn without given name is also included. Unfortunately, I left the book in Germany when I emigrated to Switzerland. |
