ME262 - Mechanic on RAF Base
Hi
I've got a bit of a mystery which I hope someone can help with. I have some paperwork relating to a man who served with Nahaufklärungsstaffel 12./12 and 2./NAGr. 6. He appears to have been a mechanic, and had training on the ME 262. After the war he was kept as a POW until 1947, and was based at Fassberg RAF Base. He is listed on the paperwork as being part of a unit called D.A.Z.L. 22 (T) Does this acronym mean anything to anyone? Any info would be welcome! Thanks in advance |

Re: ME262 - Mechanic on RAF Base
Found references to "Deutscher Arbeitszug Luft“ which would mean German Work Detail, Air/Aviation.
