Information concerning the loss of Feldwebel August Stigler - killed 22.10.1940
Hi,
Have done some preliminary research before coming to the experts. It seemed he was part of a Ju 88 crew on bombing mission to London but crashed on take off. He was also the brother of Franz Stigler - famous for not shooting down a damaged B-17. Please can someone confirm his unit and other crew members and mission? Many thanks Rick |
