Group Captain Byron Duckenfield AFC
I've just heard that Group Captain Byron Duckenfield AFC, former Battle of Britain Pilot with 74 and 501 Squadron, passed away on Friday 19th November 2010.

Very sad news.My girlfriend is Byron Duckenfields granddaughter.I never had the pleasure of meeting him. She said he was a lovely man.Her other grandfather is Sir Peter Le Cheminant another BOB pilot whom ive had the pleasure of meeting and who is in fine fettle.
