German helicopter in Serbia
Many years ago I have talk with one old man who was the member of the unit of Draza Mihailovic in the area
of Krusevac. My basic interest was his brother who flew in Skoplje on recce planes but our conversation led into other direction later. He remember that when the Krusevac was liberated from Germans his staff had meting with the German commander who had handed town to our side and after this Germans was retreated from town. But most interesting from this memory is that this German officer, who had red band on pans by the memory, had after meting flew away in helicopter. I don't know much about the use of German helicopters but hope that this could be of interest for some resarchers. O forget to say- Krusevac was liberated at 14. October 1944.
