Uffz. Martin Deskau, III./JG 3

Hi,

I'm seeking information of Uffz. Martin Deskau, that served in III./JG 3, in the last year of the war.

How many victories did him obtain? What medals did him receive?

Thank's a lot!

Franklin

Martin Deskau probably went down on the lake in Woldenberg and was KIA in the aircraft.
We know this place
But this is not confirmed 100% but place of wrack - yes.

Re: Uffz. Martin Deskau, III./JG 3

Guess he may possibly have made claims in 1945, but last micro film claim recorded for 11./Jg3 is 17th December 1944, after this I don't think we will ever get the true picture, just speculation and information from log books.

Regards

Johannes

Deskau, Martin Uffz 6/JG-103, 2/EJG West, 11/JG-3 (4/45) Fw 190A, Bf 109K-4 Werk # 334176 "Yellow 1 + I" (4/45 Pasewalk) Fighter Operational Clasp Flugbuch (8/44 to 4/45).

and

30.01.1945; 11./JG 3; Uffz. Martin Deskau; wounded; Flak, Woldenberg, belly landing, 100%; Bf 109 G-14; WNr. 464100; yellow 6 + |

- can anybody show confirmation that Martin Deskau survived the II WW ???? Any article or information from sure source ?

In this case we have not another pilot wrack from lake in Woldenberg/Dobiegniew. For sure in our wrack pilot was KIA.

By the way I saw him "Deskau, Martin" on this list:
