Who can tell me wich statement is correct : 42-28919 356FG-360FS " Florida Gator " crashlanded spring 1944 near A-92 St-Trond in Belgium , the pilot Lt Taylor Clyde M became POW. OR 42-28919 10ADG-326FRS crashlanded on november 23th 1944 near A-93 Liége in Belgium , the pilot was Schultis Joseph E. Thanks in advance |

As far as I know Taylor Clyde was not became POW at any moment #42-28919 was a former mount of Taylor in 360FS A/C before to be transferred to another unit when they move on P-51 . This A/C crash landed at A-93 the 23 November 1944 2nd Lt Schultis Joseph Edward "Joe” O-824745 was safe , he became POW the 27/12/1944 on 42-28866 36th FG 22nd FS when crash landed in a pine wood in Vielsalm area (he was captured the 30th) Regards Phil |

Lt Clyde M. Taylor was a member of the 356 FG 360 FS from May 44 to November 44 and flew 62 missions. Rgds. |
