SKG10

I am a fairly serious scale modeller researching a by II & IV/SKG10 raid on Bournemouth Hampshire (as it was then) now Dorset U.K. on 23 may 1943.Can anyone identify specific aircraft colour (camouflage) schemes, codes, or other info that will enable me to model a specific aircraft. I understand that 22 Fw190A-4/U8 and A-5/U8's were involved. 2 were shot down. They were led by Ltnt Leopold Wenger and an Untteroffizier Schmidt was killed.

Re: SKG10

Suggest you get a copy of my book 'Tip & Run'-in it is a photo of Wenger's Blue 13, the one he flew during the raid (but did not lead by the way) and gives a good account of the attack. II Gruppe were not involved-they were hitting Brighton

Heheheh

Yes, it was the source of some "excitement" recently in another corner of the internet.

When's the "nocturnal" book due?

Another corner? It has been a long day and Wales beat another country at rugby (better than last year)

Nocturnal book should be with Classic by March. Publication? Some time this year
