Info on Berge Batallions (I-IX), Bergungskommandos, Zerlegebetriebs and all other related units?

Can anybody help with this enquiry forwarded to me via email?

Quote:
On a different subject, I am desperate to get my hands on information (not included in "Luftwaffe Codes, Markings and Units 1939-45") regarding Luftwaffe aircraft salvage operations for my current book. I am looking for information such as unit names, when formed, locations, when disbanded or renamed, organization structure, aircraft operated, etc. for the Berge Batallions (I-IX), Bergungskommandos, Zerlegebetriebs and all other related units. Do you know anyone who would be willing to help me out with that kind of information?
Thanks in advance for any pointers...

Hi there Byron...

Thanks for the prompt response and additional data As I'm posting this question on behalf of another enthusiast/published author, I will forward your thoughts to him and ask if he has any reciprocal data. I am trying to encourage him to join so hopefully he will be able to post his thoughts here too...

Kind regards

A "Zerlegebetrieb" was affiliated to the Messerschmitt production at KZ Flossenbürg and its "Aussenlager".

If you want mare information I´ll have to check my references at home

Regards

Roland
