Greetings!

I have a question about the late-war look of the machines of the "Mölders-Geschwader".

As far as I have found, there is no photograps of any machine that carries the assigned green-white-green RV band.

Does anyone know differently?

Hello Angantyr

The very few photographs that I have seen of JG 51's late war fighters never seem to have the assigned green-white-green band either. I hope to obtain the Stipdonk/Meyer photo-history volume next month so possibly then I can answer your question more fully but for the moment I have the impression that few if any of the Geschwader's aircraft had this marking. If anyone else can add to this it would be very helpful.

As I recall the Meyer/Stipdonk book contains a single photo that shows the RVT band.
