FW 190 claim
My Father claimed an FW 190 destroyed on Feb. 10, 1944, 10-20 sw of Hanover. Any information on this would be appreciated.

Hello,
It might help if you can give a wee bit of information regarding your father. Was he a pilot or an air gunner? Did he have a name, rank and service number? What was his unit? Regards, Bart |

My Father was Lt. Cecil Manning 4th fighter group 335 FS. This particular day of this victory he was flying P-47 WD-A

JG 1 and JG 11 lost a number of 190s that day in action with US fighters. However, the locations are some distance from Hannover. Without more details, it is difficult to hazard a guess. Do you have the encounter report which might have more details?
