Hello,
It might help if you can give a wee bit of information regarding your father. Was he a pilot or an air gunner? Did he have a name, rank and service number? What was his unit? Regards, Bart

JG 1 and JG 11 lost a number of 190s that day in action with US fighters. However, the locations are some distance from Hannover. Without more details, it is difficult to hazard a guess. Do you have the encounter report which might have more details?
