Heinkel 177 - confusing colors
Hi,
I need help with this photo, taken from Griehl/Dressel book: ![]() What is the color of the spinner? Is it red? And what about the outlines of QK letters.. also in red or should it stay white? Thanks for your opinions.

Strictly speaking, yes, the spinners hosuld be red, given that the letter 'K' in the code identifies 2.Staffel, whose I/D colour was red. The outlined letters themselves I believe, would have been in grey, similar to that of the cross on the fuselage. Regards... |
