Topper III 332nd FG - Luftwaffe and Allied Air Forces Discussion Forum

Was Capt. Toppin's P-51 'Topper III' a 'b' or 'c' model? I understand that the 'B' and 'C' were pretty much identical and the difference was only that they were built at different plants?

Thanks in advance and hope someone has an answer, or can clarify that there is no anwer

If anyone else needs this information, 'Topper III' was a 'B' model.

I'm building a model of this aircraft and will put it the 332nd Tribtue site if anyone wants to see it.
