Two Stuka crashes, Narvik 2.6-40

On this day, pilot Ltn.Klaus Kübel of Stuka (A5+DK) and Obltn.Heinz Böhne of Stuka WNr.5428 (A5+DM) were shot down and killed.

The gunners of the two planes were killed too. I have been searching for their names for a while now.

Both Kübel and Böhne are buried at Narvik Cemetery. When I studied the grave list I found two other names killed on the same date: Uffz.Rudolf Tribulowski and Uffz. Horst Schamp.

Can anyone confirm if they belonged to the Stukas mentioned above?

TIA Kjell

Hello Kjell,

You are quite right, SCHAMP flew with the Staffelkapitän, BOHNE, and TRIBULOWSKI with KÜLBEL.
