Attacks on Uboats on 11/12 March 1945

Does anyone know of two recorded attacks on uboats off the southwest Irish coast on the above dates. From what I can gather, the first attack would have taken place on a uboat on the surface on the afternoon of the 11th. The second took place again on the surface but I am unsure if it was on the night of the 11th or the early morning of the 12th. The attacking aircraft used a searchlight on this second attack. I can find no uboat claimed as sunk so this may appear as an attack and a probable. Any info would be appreciated.

Regards,

Mark

Mark.

Come up with the following .

11 March 1945
U 681 Commanded by Oberleutnant zur See Werner Gebauer. Sunk by B-24 Liberator 'N' VPB 103 Squadron US Navy.

This attack occurred west of Bishops Rock.

Thanks Peter & Michal,

This attack was off the coast of England, I am interested in an attack off the SW of Ireland. Off the Fastnet rock light (or there abouts).

Regards,

Mark
