DRK Vermisstenbildliste

Hi, guys.

Has any of you got access to the Vermisstenbildliste volumes for the flying units of the Luftwaffe?

As I am approaching the launch date for 'The 1944 Project' website, it would be of interest to use this in addition to other information already gathered.

Please contact me on or off-board!

Regards,
Andreas B

Re: DRK Vermisstenbildliste

Andreas,

I have scans of quite a few so-called Death Cards, containing all the basic info on a particular killed airman.
Would you be interested in something like this?

Re: DRK Vermisstenbildliste

Hi,

yes, I would be interested, Dénes, as I can attach all kind of material to the loss records in the database, also scanned documents.

My reason for being interested in the Vermisstenbildliste is that I have updated the loss database with several hundred loss records from late 1944 and early 1945 during the last days, and would like to see which aircrew still were listed as MIA after the war.

Regards,
Andreas B
