Hi ,
Would someone check out if the following info is correct ? 29/10/1940 Stene Belgium - Fiat BR.20 - MM21904 - 43°Stormo S/Ten Biagetti (KIA) - Ten Poggi (KIA) - 1°Av. Podda (KIA) - 1°Av.Sc Zarillo (KIA) - 1°Av. Bay (KIA) - Av. Sala (KIA) Was this crew buried at the Evere Cemetery near Brussels ,whats the meaning off 1°Av ( airman 1st class ) ? Thanks |

Many details here: http://surfcity.kund.dalnet.se/falco_bob.htm On 29/10/1940 one BR.20 made a forced landing at Stene on its way with other bombers to Ramsgate, England. This may be your BR.20. No mentioning of human loss. BR.20 MM21904 appears to have participated in a raid on 11-11-1940 so wasn't a write-off on 29-10-1940. Groet, Leendert |

I believe Ten. Poggi was killed in the 11th.Nov. attack
