KG2: 9 July 1943
Can anyone identify the Do217s (other than U5+FN; U5+FP; U5+BP and U5+LP) that took part in the raid on the East Grinstead area of southern England on 9 July 1943?

Re: KG2: 9 July 1943
Bill: I have a pretty detailed account of the attack (presuming it was the daytime one) from Luftflotte 3 records. 8 ac took off between 1524-1531 hrs for a störangriff against various SE England targets. 4 ac attacked houses on the southern part of London 1720-1730 hrs with 8xSC500 & 48xSC50. Another ac attacked Tunbridge Wells 1721 hrs hitting the centre of the town with 2xSC500 & 12 SC50. One ac reported a combat with a single-engined fighter 05E/0033-0137 between 1702 & 1712 hrs. No mention of who was flying what though apart from the 2 losses and what is in Ulf Balke's book
