Hi
Me 110 WNr 2381 was obviously salvaged. Destroyed in bomb attack on Fl.Pl.Laupheim July 24th 1944. At the time with ZG 101 Regards, Andreas B

Hi, guys
Regarding the photo album from the Beobachter flying a He 111... some of them are incredible, and if they are really made in a combat situation, I am amazed of the quality... Especially the photos of the polish and french fighters are incredible, and for some reason I get a feeling that these photographs are made AFTER the battle, and might be part of a movie or something? Problem is that other photographs feels as 'the real thing'... Comments? Regards, Andreas B

I saw that they were Avia's, but didn't know if the poles had any of these (not my main field of interest) You can also see a camera installation on top of the engine cowling on one of the 'french' Hawks. Anyone able to identify the Hawks with serial numbers? Did these eventually end up in III./JG 77 and Finland? Regards, Andreas B

Hi...
Definitely a Whitley. The tailplane arrangement gives it away. Loved the photo album showing the Do17s from KG77, especially the mix of Do17Z and the earlier Do17Es, with the small external bomb load in evidence. Thanks for a great selection once again, Ed. Regards...

Avias and Hawks were flown for Kampfgeschwader Luetzow movie, they have also burned some actual Polish planes for it. I cannot exclude that the footage was used in other films as well.
