Hurricane V6865 of 56 OTU
Hurricane V6865 of 56 OTU collided with Stirling W7467 of 7 Sqd near Cambridge on the 17th Jan 1942. Does anybody know the name of the Hurricane pilot?

The late Andy Cresswell was with me when someone (I forget who!) excavated the wreck of the Stirling and I know that Andy had considerable quantities of the latter. I do not think that anything of the Hurricane was recovered, though.
