Roderick Chisholm's 18/19 Nov43 claim
Does anyone have any info on Roderick Chisholm's 18/19 Nov 43 victory claim? It was his 9th and last. He was flying Mosquito II HJ705 of the FIU. He identified it as a Bf 110 after he fired at the plane he mentions seeing liquid on the windshield of his plane and observed the 110 hit the ground and explode. The Osprey book on Mosquito Aces and his book "Cover of Darkness" have accounts of this incident. Thanks in advance.

Looks to be Bf 110 F-4, 4820 of 2/NJG 6. Chisholm claimed near Mannheim; this came down near Heidelberg probably due to enemy aircraft. Ofw Josef Soller + 2 baled out wounded
