Bogdan is on a distinguished road
Smile JG 52 Lt Detlev Petersen

I am trying to find out any information regarding this pilot
I know he claimed victories between september 1943-april 1944 when he was KIA , but I wish I knew more: When he was born, perhaps a photo of his, time he joined JG 52, flying time etc
Any info would be pretious.
Kind regards, and TIA
Bogdan

Detlev Petersen

Hello Bogdan

All that I can add is that Leutnant Detlev Petersen (at least 5 victories) of 5./JG 52 was killed on 8 April 1944 in Bf 109 G-6 "Black 4" (W.Nr. 20 646) following aerial combat. I hope that this helps you a little.

Horrido!

Leo
