Lightning 44-23725
Hi Gents,
44-23725 was a Lockheed F-5E Recco Lightning : what sub-type it was ? many thanks in advance Von Alles |

Hi
It was originally a P-38J-25-LO, but was converted to F-5E. Most likely 23725 was a F-5E-3-LO,( unless anyone knows otherwise) As the serials in the batch before and after 23725 were this type, Incidently the next a/c, 23726 was also converted from P38-J to F-5E An interesting history 23725 was eventually used by luftwaffe cheers Jerry |
