Pratt & Whitney R-1830 performance chart

Hello
Does anyone have performance chart for R-1830? I am particularly interested with power vs height data - I cannot find them on the web nor in my stuff.
TIA

R-1830-33 (without exhaust driven supercharger), but actually any will do.

Re: Pratt & Whitney R-1830 performance chart

Franek,

I have the original 'Operators Handbook' (Not a copy) for the Pratt & Whitney Twin Wasp C4 R-1830 Engine which gives various charts on the engine performance. If you would like scans of the charts please PM me with your email address.
and in the next couple of days I'll send them on to you.

Regards
Peter.

Re: Pratt & Whitney R-1830 performance chart

Hello Franek
It seems that Peter will deliver just what you want, but here some info from “Detail specifications for Curtiss Hawk 75-A Airplane” from Curtiss.
P&W Twin Wasp S3C3-G geared
Horsepower max. at critical rammed alt. 950
Horsepower at takeoff (2700 rpm) 1100
Horsepower max at cruising (2200 rpm) 700
Horsepower max at sea level (2700 rpm) 950
Compression ratio__________________6.7:1
Blower Ratio______________________8.0:1
Propeller Gear Ratio________________16:9
Propeller Diameter (Curtiss 3 Blade) 10’-1½”

For H-75A with this engine critical altitude was 4650m.

Re: Pratt & Whitney R-1830 performance chart

Franek, I have power (sea level and altitude powers at multiple settings using 87 octane fuel) and sfc curves for the SC3-G model, from the Finnish manual.
