Re: Looking for the fate of Hptm. Heinrich Wurzer of JG 302

According to Willi Reschke's book on JG 301/302 :

On 8th of July 1944, Hptm.Würzer scored his last 2 victories against B-24s, but he was also wounded in the right arm and made a belly landing with Bf-109 G-6 "White 1" near Gôtzendorf airfield. He was put out of action "for a lengthy period".

Hope that can help you,

Kolya.
