Correct name of 4./KG3 pilot
Looking for the correct name and rank of 4./KG3 pilot captured 04Jul43. Source has listed Lieutenant Karl Hofman.

Thanks for the response. From Vitaliy Gorbach book it has him listed as captured after being shot down by 88 GIAP Maj. S.S. Rimsha and Lt M.K. Shscherbakov on the 04Jul43. He was interrogated by the Staff of the 2 VA. I looked through Bykov's book on Soviet Aces and it has Shscherbakov listed with a Ju87 for that day and nothing for Rimsha. There was a website with corrections for his book at one time but I can't locate it now. |
