LW combat loss St Omer/Marquise area 3.8.1941

Hi guys, my great uncle made a claim for a Bf 109F shot down in the St Omer/Marquise region at approx 1930hrs on 3.8.1941. It was one 109 flying in a group of 4, is there anyway to verify the loss and ID the pilot/unit? He was with 602 Sqd in a Spitfire.

JG 26 lists an E-4, E-7, and an F-1 damaged, but all made it back or had crash landings.

...and nothing for JG 2 I am afraid so it would appear that Sgt K N Murray (plus 4 other pilots from 452/602 Sqn) might have been a little optimistic!

Were the 5 claims confirmed, if there was a acceptance system in England at that time ??

Remi: Not sure I understand you but the pilots were credited with 4 destroyed and one probably destroyed

So officially granted with these claims, at least for 4,
