Location question
Hi guys, I'm trying to translate a place name from a combat report that is near Merville, France, and it looks like "Tournai Audenade"? but the writing is very hard to read clearly, so if anyone can help or may know where it might be suggesting, I would really appreciate it. It's around May, 1940 and I know the pilot was stationed with 213 at Merville.
Best Wishes, Chris |

Re: Location question
Tournai is a town in Belgium to the west of Lille.
Audenarde is the French spelling for the town of Oudenaarde, also in Belgium, to the north-west of Tournai. |
