![]() Hi All,
maybe Ju 88 friends know about the WWII crash of a Ju 88, in area Zillertaler Alpen, nr Austrian -Italian border. Parts confirm a Ju 88, but no day, no crew, no reason for crash known. Please let me know if you have information about that crash. Thanks ginamod |

Re: Ju 88 loss-find
Have to see some i.d., photo of parts or of the area. I know of one Ju 88 A-4 crash, into an glacier on mountain in Austria (but glacer now melted away) but do not know if this might be the same.

Re: Ju 88 loss-find
Hi Ed,
your idea could fit. A Ju52 came out of galcier, partially restored, its story is completly researched by University of Innsbruck. Not my location. My plane is definitely a Ju 88, several parts with numbers exist. Glacier melted away, this is confirmed. No further knwoledge until now. Can you improve my poor knowledge on Ju 88, Zillertaler Alpen? Thx ginamod Austria |
