Hi Michel, according to the "Bodenplatte" book by Manrho and Pütz this aircraft, marked as "Blue 3", was flown by Uffz. Horst Tharann and belly-landed nw of Geilenkirchen because of AAA damage. The pilot was taken prisoner. Cheers, Christian |

				Re: FW-190 A9 werkenr.960324 8./JG4
Come on guys, there is a little bit more to tell about this. Did anybody check my book....:-)))....should be in it. I am not able to add more to this post now, but I will respond in a few days time. So, do some checking and thinking and make a guess why I wrote that this a/c crashed northwest of Geilenkirchen... Cheers, John |

John's and Ron Pütz's book is definitely the authoritative source on 'Bodenplatte'. Last edited by thenelm; 8th March 2010 at 01:37. Reason: sp. |
