On another board a person is claiming that there was a shortage of radios for the 109 during the BoB. This is the first time I hear of this and find it very hard to believe.

True or not?

Very very unlikely, I suggest you ask for their evidence to support such a claim.

Ya, and on another board I frequent (political of course) some wag claimed that Hungarian-born George Soros was a Nazi-sympathizer, even though he was a pre-pubescent child at the time. GIGO - garbage in, garbage out - the unfortunate legacy of the internet. Any idiot with a keyboard can claim any bloody thing they want - and some fool will believe it. And a sane individual will have to try to prove the idiot wrong - not that the fools will 'listen'.
