Wilhelm Knobbe, died on 23 Sept. 1944 in Transylvania
There is a small makeshift cross near Tg.Mures/Marosvasarhely, in Transylvania (Rumania), of what is said a Luftwaffe pilot. His name was Wilhelm Knobbe and died on 23 Sept. 1944. See the photo of his grave:
Does anyone know further details on him? Thanks,

Wilhelm Knobbe wurde noch nicht auf einen vom Volksbund errichteten Soldatenfriedhof überführt oder konnte im Rahmen unserer Umbettungsarbeiten nicht geborgen werden. Nach den uns vorliegenden Informationen befindet sich sein Grab derzeit noch an folgendem Ort: Madaras - Rumänien
