Lancaster crash in Toulouse in march or may 1944

good morning to you,

I am looking for information about a british bomber, probably a Lancaster, shot down on Toulouse during a night raid on Montaudran airfield, and crashed in the South East of the city, in an area so-called "l'Ormeau".
All crew KIA.
Date: either April 6, 1944 or May 1, 1944, I am not sure..
any data welcome !

NB: parts shown in my last thread three days ago are from this aircraft.

thanks and best regards.

GC

Re: Lancaster crash in Toulouse in march or may 1944

Bonjour Gilles

On the 5-6 April 1944 raid there was only one loss. The Lancaster I ME685 crashed at around 0030 hrs some 5 km SE of Toulouse.

See http://www.awm.gov.au/catalogue/rese...9125z007_1.pdf (and search ME685)

There was no loss during the raid of 1-2 May 1944.

Bonne journée

Laurent
