Trying to locate cy of FB for Uffz Josef Keil of 8./JG3 for 1940 part of career

Hello,

Happy Holidays to all. I know that a FB for this Luftwaffe pilot must exist, but I haven't yet located a copy. Can anyone help?

Regards,

Hi Larry,

I do not know if it helps, but there was a detailed artcle about Jupp Keils career in one French magazines in some 80s? I suppose Lorant and/Or Frappe were authors. Possibly partsof his missions were mentioned there or as well they may have his FB?
regards and Merry Xmas.

Peter,

Yes, I have the article and have a good English translation from the French magazine, Air Fan. This article could only have been written with reference to "Jupp" Keil's FB, which is why I'm asking this question. I believe that Frappe was the author. Do you have his email address, and do you know if he speaks English? Unfortunately, I don't speak French.

I'm trying to locate all such articles in the various publications that relate to events during 1939-40, so if you know of any others, I'd appreciate copies or references.

Regards and Merry Christmas to you too.

Larry,

Walter Waiss (author of the KG27 unit history and owner of a large FB collection) has a "Flugbuchauszug" in his collection containing Flug 157 (1 March 1945) through Flug 168 (20 April 1945). Don't know if he has anything beyond that.

I can pass on his email address, if you want.

Regards,

Marcel

Hello Marcel,

Keil flew the Ta152 late in the war, and became the only "ace" in this a/c. This is probably that time in his career. This won't help with the EOE project period.

Thanks for trying to help.

Regards,

Larry,

I am sorry to say thta I never made contact with Frappe. But Maybe someone from the forum here can be in touch with him.

The other question regarding the 1939-40 events. I worry that I do nto have any articles regarding Germns from that period tha are unknown. but know quite few men, who knows about their Czechoslovakian opponents flying over the France in French planes If you need help in this way, I can point you the right direction...
