Sorry, looks like I'm looking for F/O M.P. Brown from 41 Sqn., BoB

From some info I've gotten it appears that the pilot I'm trying to find out about is actually F/O M.P. Brown who was attached to 41 Sqn. when he damaged Oblt. Schypek's E-4 forcing him to crash land. If anyone has any further information about this pilot and his Spitfire I would appreciate it.

David,
P/O Maurice Peter Brown was credited with an Me-109 on Oct 20, 1940, at 1345 hours, in the Biggin Hill area. He was flying Spitfire I X4592, according to the 41 Sqn ORB. His combat report is in Air 50, piece 18, frames 127&128 on the microfilm (the only way to view any reports in Air 50, or the ORBs in Air 27). Further details can be found in Kenneth Wynn's Men of the Battle of Britain.

Frank.

If you look in my Luftwaffes Battle of Britain: The Fighters Battle you will get all about Peter Brown and Jochen Schypek

Thanks everyone for the help. And I'll try to track down that book.
