records (of an american who joint the RCAF/RAF)

try tot find soms receord of an american wh joint the RCAF/RAF
he enlistment probably in 1940/1941
late 1942 he was transfer to the USAAF en was killed in feb 1943

acoording his family he flew missions en was wounded several times

do anybody knows were ik can find his records when he flew with the RCAF/RAF

Can you give us his name and we might be able to help with information we have?

if he served with the RCAF then he may have a surviving service record at the Canadian National Archives and since he is passed, they can get a full copy of it - if it still exists!

but he was not an fighter pilot but an radio operator of the B-17 41-24589 Texas Bronco
his name is Michael T La Medica
i have an photo of him in RCAF uniform
