Looking for ID/date/place/pilot of probably Western Campaign crash of Ju87B with code T6+J?
Hello,
The EOE Working Group (WG) is trying to ID a photo of a Ju87B which appears to be coded T6+J? (J in white) which apparently force-landed and was probably set afire by the crew, as the center of the a/c is burned out, but the prop blades are not bent. This is in foot-high meadow grass in very open farm country with occasional trees in the distant background. The a/c has a 1940-style swastica location on the tail and an unreadable W.Nr. in white at the top of the fin. From a better angle the full fuselage code is probably readable, as would be the W.Nr. This is probably in Belgium or France, but could also be in Holland. Can anyone supply additional photos of this a/c or provide any other info on it? Regards, |
