Re: RAF or Royal Naval Air Service Attack on U-boat?
According to Volume 2 of Kenneth Wynn's U-Boat Operations of the Second World War, U-571 left La Pallice on its 10th patrol on March 22, 1943 and returned the next day. No reason is stated. Whatever the reason, it left on March 25, 1943 for its 11th patrol, returning on May 1.
