17.12.1942 Do 217E-4 Kennz U5+AK
Hi, guys.
I was looking at some documents in my collection and have a discrepancy with regards to the following loss: http://www.aviationhistory.no/ref_db...?lossid=143897 The GenQu loss have the WNr 4348, while the KG 2 book states 5600. Also in my archive I have a so-called Auftrag auf Zerlegung oder Absetzung for this aircraft, saying that the loose parts and equipment for this aircraft will be shipped to a central storage facility, with a number of the delivery documents also reported. This document also state WNr 5600, with engines BMW 801 A-2, WerkNr 82644 and 82446 Could anyone check to see what was found on the british side, as I assume there would be a crashed enemy aircraft report for this one?? Regards, Andreas B

Andreas, note that WNr. 4348 was also reported as a loss on 12-Dec-42. Given that, I had updated my record for 17-Dec to WNr. 5600 per the Balke.
