Can anyone tell me about SKG 210 claims for July 1941 ?

Hi guys,

Can anyone tell me about SKG 210 Claims for aircraft shot down AND destroyed on the ground for the month of July 1941 ? Any Book(s) or web sources you can recommend are welcome. But it is import for me to find out about strikes against airfields and the claims of aircraft Damaged/destroyed, particularly for the period 22 thru 31 July 1941. I would appreciate any help on this.

Thanks
Oquaig

John Foreman's book only covers the period to Barbarossa thus July in Russia is not covered

SKG 210: 24/4/41 to 3/1/42. Then became Geschwaderstab, I & II Gruppen of ZG 1 from 4/1/42.

Re: Can anyone tell me about SKG 210 claims for July 1941 ?

Hi guys,
I just want to make it clear That I am looking mostly for data on aircraft destroyed on the ground and the claims of aircraft Damaged/destroyed by SKG 210, particularly for the period 22 thru 31 July 1941.

Thanks again

If it's ZG1 in Russia, you might send Evgeny Velichko a PM as he is working on a history of the unit.

ZG 1 did not exist on the Russian Front in July 1941. That was its predecessor unit, SKG 210.

I thought he was working on a book about SKG 210. I would love to have a copy but it has to be published first. One must be patient. but thanks for the idea.
