Steve

Foreman in his RAF Victory claims says
Blair 15.00H
Beggs 15.00H

Cheers
Stig

Re: No 151Sq claims 5.8.40

Hi Stig, thanks for the information from Foreman's book, however there appears to be some conflicting information somewhere along the lines!

According to the Form 541 ORB reports, No.151Sq had started to return back from ops from Rochford at 13.05hhrs to their base at North Weald 13.25hrs. I see no more operations listed after then.
It would appear that either the ORB is incomplete, or the combat claims were made earlier than credited?

If anybody can substantiate these claims i would be interested to hear from them.

Best regs,
Steve.

Steve,

My own notes indicate that BLAIR claimed a 109 in the Channel off Dover during a sortie between 13.50 - 15.05 hours. BEGGS claimed a Ju88 probably destroyed during the same action.
