No.623 Squadron Stirling Loss

Hoping someone can help.

Stirling Mk.III EE909 IC-H flown by PO G L Jenkins DFC failed to return from Nuremburg on 27th/28th August 1943crashing at Birkenfeld, Germany.

The Loss Card records the aircraft was attacked by a N/F at 16000ft, but managed to bomb the target. Additional information via a priviate source indicates that the Stirling was brought down by a rear gunner of a Halifax.

Does anyone have any details on this loss, or can establish the exact crash location.
