Re: JG 53 Historian ?

Joe,

Not exclusively dedicated to JG53 but Dr Jochen Prien would be my prime candidate and first port of call. He is a regular contributor to this forum.

Joe

Not sure what you mean but Jochen Prien wrote the history of JG 53 some years ago whilst I did a bit on I/JG 53 in 1940

Re: JG 53 Historian ?

JOE,
I fully recommend the 3 volumes work from Dr. PRIEN about JG 53. Although very expensive, they are really incredible, with many interviews...hundreds of photographs, victory and loss tables, collor pictures, etc....I wish EACH Squadron could have the same Historical Records put on volumes like he did...it would be, indeed, a fascinating reading....
Try to GOOGLE and find his works on the NET...you will not be disappointed, believe me!
Yours,
Adriano
OBS: Do you need something especial? I guess some of the members do have (myself included) Dr. Prien's work...so we can try to find out for you...

Re: JG 53 Historian ?

Jean-Louis Roba is also a writer/researcher who has JG 53 under his pen... Depending what are you searching?
