http://www.ebay.de/itm/ws/eBayISAPI....m=170937034562 Oberstl was Fritz Köhler Gruppenkommandeure from 3/41 to 9/42. Bf 109E was in use only in 1.(F) and 3.(F) not in Stab StaffeL What's the emblem on cowling?? Regards, Franck.

I think the emblem is the flying stork on the red device of 1(F)/AufklGr122 K&R-583/K-687 Regards Peter

Hello Franck,
What I actually see in the enlargement is a vertical dark streak with two 'white' ? horizontal projections each side near the top. these tones could match the emblem of 1(F(/122 which is why I said "I think" rather than "It is". But you are correct in saying that we cannot really see the stork. Regards Peter
