unknown airfield with Me 323
Hi,
i have bought a picture of two Me 323, does anybody have an idea, where the picture was likely taken? In the background is a hangar and the tower visible. Any info very appreciated. Thanks a lot for help Lino |

Hi,
Check the attached photo from my collection (bottom). Warsaw was an aerodrome, where large transport planes were seen quite often, as the were taking cargo to the Eastern Front. As for Me-323s or -321, there were repaired and overhauled here too. Probably most interesting fact is that Me-323E-2WT was born in Warsaw, though this is not widely known. Cheers, Pawel |
